Waynetown - Charles H. Ellis former Waynetown tailor, died Sunday morning at the Methodist Memorial Home at Warren where he had resided since 1962. He was 93. He was born at Waynetown and lived there most of his life. He enjoyed his work as a tailor and continued to work long after he reached 90 years old. He was the subject of a Journal-Review and Indianapolis newspaper Sunday magazine article entitled: "Nimble Fingers at 90." Ellis' wife, Carrie, preceded him in death. He was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. He had held several offices in the church and at one time sang in the church choir. Ellis is survived by a son, Robert of Garrett; and several cousins. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Memorial Chapel at Warren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - kbz
